Nordikka Herringbone LVT with Black feature strip border.

A lot of prep work went into this one! With cracks in the floor requiring Epoxy stitching, floor had to be grinded to remove all of the previous tradesmens paint, plaster, dirt and just about anything else they felt like throwing on the floor!

Once it was ground down nice and clean we gave it a healthy dose of Universal Primer, before applying a coat of one of the best Smoothing compounds on the market in Bostiks SL955, literally does all the hard work for you and settles to a snooker table smooth subfloor to apply your flooring to!

Applied the Smoothing compound using BIHUI Tools UK BU-MS1900 Mixing Station, honestly one of those tools I wish I bought years ago! Not only does it save huge amounts of time, it save having to lift and move around 30-60kg buckets of smoothing compound, the relief on my back is priceless.

Once the compound was dry we then got to work setting up our centre points, using the Buhui Laser Level we fitted our crown row and cracked on until completion.

Lots of satisfying mitres and angles to work on, one of the nicest looking Herringbone floors we've fitted in a while.

Trims provided by Stairrods UK Ltd , why use a sticky cover strip when you can fit these? Really adds to the look and finish of the job to use a trim with an inlay strip.

All in all, very happy customer 👌

💥⚒️ A recent LVT Herringbone fitted in a kitchen ⚒️💥

Customer originally had some tile effect laminate fitted that started to get quite badly damaged and come apart due to their tenant allowing dogs and cats to use the floor as a litter tray! 🤮🤮 safe to say it wasn't the nicest smelling job to begin with! We also fitted new cupboard doors and handles to give the kitchen a nice makeover and give the customer a nice, clean place to prepare food in again!

Once we ripped out the old laminate, we fitted 5.5mm plywood, then applied a coat of Bostik C530 Flexible Smoothing compound to get it all level enough to fit a Herringbone floor on. LVT was from the Beach Bros Nordikka Range and was bonded using Bostik Stix A930 fibre adhesive. This stuff is brilliant for floors that have a bit of flex in them. It's one of the best adhesives on the market for my money!

⚒️ Engineered oak flooring installed on a recently bungalow conversion in Lympstone!

It's safe to say I've never come across so much prep work being required to level out a floor before! Over 200 bags of smoothing compound installed at various depths throughout to achieve a smooth and consistent floor. Shoutout to Ross at Screedmasters SW for getting that absolutely bang on. We then came in and did some additional areas to get a perfectly smooth finish for the oak flooring.

Flooring from Beach Bros Ltd from their 1868 Range - Mixed grade. Bonded to the floor using Bostik H200 flexible wood flooring adhesive, and finished with an ultra matt (Pure) coat of SAICOS premium hardwax oil.

Nice finishing touch of seemless thresholds alongside the steps leading to the next property finished with flush nosings. A lovely job for a lovely customer! ⚒️

⚒️⚒️ A bit of a switch up for us on this one! What originally started as fitting some LVT throughout the hallway and kitchen quickly turned into fitting a lovely stair runner along with stairrods and an understairs cupboard.

A lot of sanding and prep work involved in this one, especially when using the colour black as it shows every minor imperfection!

Floor was levelled using SL955 Smoothing compound, and bonded using Bostik Stix A930, the LVT is from the Nordikka Range at Beach Bros Ltd, stair runner and stairrods were purchased privately online from the customer, but surprisingly good quality for the price paid!

Install of Karndean midnight marble & glaciel marble.

Bespoke install with every plank hand selected and placed so not to form any patterns or repeats and create a Completely custom one.of a kind floor!

Subfloor was given a coat of Bostik CL950 smoothing compound, and bonded to the floor using Bostik Stix A930

⚒️ Custom Karndean LVT Install ⚒️

This one is up there with one of our most custom installs so far, customer originally wanted two colour black and white stone effect with a fairly set pattern, once we started to install they weren't sure so we went through a few different designs and eventually fell on this completely random effect!

It's not for everyone but the customer is really happy with the floor, along with the new kitchen install and freshly decorated walls.

An install that was a but of a brain teaser at times! But we got there in the end! ⚒️
