🌱 New project | McDonalds Herne Bay

We’re delighted to have secured another exciting project with our valued client, Galamast, at the new McDonald’s restaurant due to open in Herne Bay, Kent, this October.

Our team will be carrying out the initial site clearance works, followed by the installation of closeboard and knee rail fencing.

A big thank you to the Galamast team for choosing Hooper Services to work alongside you on another exciting project!

We’re delighted to welcome Hayden Maule, the latest addition to our growing Fencing team who joins us with 4 years experience in the industry.

📢 New project underway | Bickleigh Barracks

We’re delighted to have started work on a new project for our valued client, Kier , at RM Bickleigh, near Plymouth—home to 42 Commando Royal Marines.

Our team is completing the site setup and compound fencing to support the construction of new Single Living Accommodation for 166 personnel.

We’re very proud to be contributing to this important project that'll help to improve the standard and availability of accommodation for service personnel at the base.

Welcome to the team, Mark Newberry! 👋

Mark recently joined Hooper Services as a Grounds Maintenance Operative, bringing a wealth of transferable skills from a varied career, including working as a gas engineer and plumber, and most recently as a Contracts Manager within social housing.

After deciding it was time for a change, Mark was keen to pursue a more active, outdoor role—and eight weeks in, he’s “absolutely loving every minute of it”!

Armada Way after dark 🌙

🏡 New Project | Empress Gardens, Tiverton

We’re delighted to be working with our valued client, Bellway Homes, at its Empress Gardens development in Tiverton, Devon.

The development will provide 41 eco-friendly new homes, ranging from one and two-bedroom apartments to two, three and four-bedroom houses.

Our scope of work includes:

➡️ Public open space landscaping and fencing
➡️ Plot fencing
➡️ Plot landscaping
➡️ Ongoing maintenance

This is our second project for Bellway Homes in the area, following the ongoing success of our work at Libbets Grange in nearby Crediton. We’re proud to be strengthening this valued relationship and look forward to helping create attractive, high-quality outdoor spaces for the new community.

A huge well done to Mike Tuck, who recently completed and passed his telehandler test with the expert team from Champion Training Solutions Ltd.

Investing in the skills and development of our team is an important part of ensuring we continue to work safely and efficiently across our projects.

Special thanks to the Champion Training Solutions team, who were able to accommodate our request at relatively short notice and come to our head office to carry out the test. A great experience from start to finish!

Russell brings with him 25 years of experience in the industry, and we're delighted that he's chosen to progress his career as part of the growing Hooper Services team.

Project underway | Lime Hills Academy ⚽

We’re delighted to share that our team has recently started work at the highly anticipated Lime Hills Academy in Langford, North Somerset, which is due to open next year.‍

Our extensive package of works includes the delivery of the sports pitches and multi-use games area (MUGA), the importation and spreading of 800 tonnes of topsoil, GreenBlue Urban RootSpace® tree pit installation, and soft landscaping across the site.

Due to open in September 2027, the purpose-built SEND school will provide specialist education for 65 pupils aged five to 16. The new outdoor facilities will create safe, high-quality spaces for sport, physical activity and learning, with the MUGA also intended to support wider community use outside school hours.

We’re proud to be contributing to this important project and creating spaces that will help pupils thrive for years to come.
