This is good news for Exeter.

We are so proud to announce that our plans for The Royal Clarence have been officially approved by Exeter City Council! This project is a huge piece of work for the city, and we feel incredibly lucky to be the team bringing this icon back to life.

Max Sayers was out on the green today filming with ITV News to talk about how we’re blending the building’s dramatic history with the high-quality, sustainable design NooKo is known for (just like our community over at Vyve Gym!).

Had a fascinating rooftop tour of Exeter Cathedral today.
It is incredible just how much the roof trusses have racked (leant over) -up to 2m out of line- but the oak is strong enough to cope with the stresses.

These blue t**s have been checking out our bird box for a number of weeks, but they finally seem to be nesting in it at last.
We're feeling very lucky to have a pair nesting in our box for yet another year!

With the sun shining this week, and spring well on its way, we've had some bluet**s checking out the bespoke birdbox that we designed and built a few years ago.
These photos are actually from a couple of years ago, but hopefully we might be able to get some new photos again soon.

The Bruder Klaus Field Chapel may look monolithic and almost brutal from the outside, but the interior is a hidden gem of architecture.
Such a cleverly constructed and beautifully crafted building.

What do you give to an architect for Christmas?

My amazing wife found this brilliant book of kirigami models of buildings designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.

Such a fabulous present for a Frank Lloyd Wright fan!

While the actual building of Unity Temple is not my favourite of Frank Lloyd Wright's projects, this was page one in the book, so it is presumably the easiest.

I am looking forward to working my way through the book, but it's going to take quite some time. These kirigami models are beautiful but they are tricky!
