New radio link Espire smoke and heat alarm installed in the garage where the risk of fire is more prominent with both battery storage and an inverter are installed for a solar system.

By using the radio link it allows for a zero mess installation and a way to easily link a new alarm to your existing wired system in your home for early alert to a potential fire so you have time to escape and call 999.

New accent lighting installed either side of the main entrance door of a customers home.

Originally only had one light to the LHS but I have to admit having lights either side really set it for a lovely entrance whilst illuminating the step.

July Round-Up at Current Control Electrical! ⚡

Blimey, July has flown by in an absolute flash!

From tackling major rewires to saving the day on emergency call-outs (and even rescuing a feathered friend along the way!), it has been a busy and brilliant month.

We want to send a massive THANK YOU to all of our amazing customers across Exeter and the surrounding areas for trusting us with your homes and businesses.

🔧 What We Got Up To in July:

Testing & Safety: 3x EICRs, 3x PAT tests, 2x Fuse board upgrades, and 5x Smoke & Heat alarms installed.

Repairs & Maintenance: 8x Faulty sockets replaced, 2x Faulty light switches replaced, 1 lighting wiring fault repaired, 1 ceiling fan light repair, and 1 very dodgy previous "electrician" bodge job put right!

Installations: Full rewire of a large 2-bed property, full house smart electric heating, 1x Air conditioning unit, 1x Electric shower, 1x Underfloor heating, 1x Electric handwash, 1x Electric fire power supply, 3x Light fittings, 1x Ceiling fan light, 1x Cooker connection, 1x Emergency light, and 1x Burglar alarm decommissioned.

Security & Smart Tech: 4x Security cameras and 1x Security video doorbell installed.
Emergency & Wildlife: 2x Emergency call-outs... and 1 very lucky bird rescued! 🐦

(Plus, managed to squeeze in a tax return, a school fete, sports days, birthday parties, appointments, and keeping the family ship running smoothly too!)

For those saying that electricians don’t clean up after themselves…

Simon will always make sure he leaves your home as clean as he can once the work is completed. This was after a big rewire and dust is to be expected when chasing walls!

So our Bissell from home came for a day out. He definitely does more cleaning at work than at home and leaves your house cleaner than he does ours.

We’re catching up on admin today so if you are due a quote keep an eye out in your emails.
