Here's an example of something a little different.
A working Theatre Prop I made a few years ago.
It's a multi- purpose story Barrow.
With Victorian Style Drawers, a Porthole, loads of internal storage and removable nose for more storage and doubling as a desk.
All fully demountable for easy transportation even in a small car.
I have produced all manner of Bespoke props and Stage Furniture for Theatre Companies including Giant Forks and even a Revolving Giant Metronome shaped Magic Box.

So here's January again..always a quiet month for work. So I decided to re- visit some jobs I completed for local churches some 20 years or so ago.
A little age- related scuffs hand scrapes, but nevertheless looking good.

Iroko half glazed entrance door with Georgian Panes above a Solid Iroko Panel in the bottom.
To be finished in Oil to maintain that lovely honey colour.
Not the most expensive hardwood and quite difficult to work, but extremely durable.

The current project.
Bespoke Kitchen Cabinets with Birch Plywood Carcasses and Doors and Frames from Southern Yellow Pine.
Will be set off nicely by a Solid Iroko Worktop which is currently being oiled.

Just completed a pair of bespoke internal shutters for a lovely old property. Panelled 4 leaf for the larger windows and lipped 25mm MDF for the little one. Set off with black shutter bars from Marches Ironmongery.
Whilst there I took the opportunity to photograph the French Doors that I made and installed several years ago.
Glad to see they are looking pretty much like new.

It was good to re- visit some of the work I did a couple of years ago for valued customers ( and good friends) in Crediton. The adjustable painted Tulipwood Bookcase has certainly been put to good use, and the European Oak Doors have taken on a lovely golden sheen.
