The British winter is testing us! 🌧️❄️
We’re currently battling the elements to get our first project of 2026 over the finish line. While we wait for a break in the weather to ensure the finish meets our standards, here’s a project we completed just before Christmas. There is nothing quite like the clean lines of porcelain to transform a space and with a pergola from to shelter you from the rain making this garden usable for all seasons Quality never takes a backseat to the weather. Good things come to those who wait! 🛠️
We actually started this project back in the summer, but after some manufacturing delays with the cladding, we finally crossed the finish line in November.
The homeowner originally renovated this garden with oak sleepers, expecting them to last a lifetime. Unfortunately, they only made it 10 years. It’s a common issue—imported, fast-grown timber often struggles with our damp UK climate.
This wasn't an easy one! With no access for a mini digger, every bit of spoil and material was moved by hand with buckets and wheelbarrows. We’ve rebuilt this to last using concrete blocks and concrete fence posts for maximum durability. 🧱💪

We're very excited to launch 'Turf it Forward!' 🌱💚🙌

This is a competition to win up to 150 sqm of turf - including installation! We're looking for nominations for community organisations, charities, schools, churches or deserving individuals based within a 20mile radius of HCT HQ in Topsham.

The winner will be chosen by a panel of judges including our very own Steff and Richard, plus guest judges from the local area. Landscapers County Grounds Maintenance Ltd are partnering with us for the installation.
