Alongside giving the structure some extra TLC , including improving the latch, adding additional structural screws, and going around the outside to re-secure sections of mesh with extra staples , the main goal was to completely upgrade the inside of the catio and create a true 3D environment for the cats to enjoy. 😸

By adding climbing routes, shelves, enrichment features, and more usable vertical space, the catio became far more interactive and stimulating while also making sure everything felt safe, secure, and solid.

Another existing catio transformed into a much more enriching and engaging space for the cats 🐾

This project was really good fun because, for the first time, I was brought in to renovate and improve a catio originally built by somebody else.

Alongside giving the structure some extra TLC , including improving the latch, adding additional structural screws, and going around the outside to re-secure sections of mesh with extra staples , the main goal was to completely upgrade the inside of the catio and create a true 3D environment for the cats to enjoy. 😸

By adding climbing routes, shelves, enrichment features, and more usable vertical space, the catio became far more interactive and stimulating while also making sure everything felt safe, secure, and solid.

I really enjoyed this type of project and would love to do more renovations like this in the future.

A Bespoke Catio completed in Cornwall, near the seaside town of Helston ⛱️😻

This one was an absolute pleasure to build on the rear of a bungalow, designed with plenty of shelving for a cat that loves to be up high. 😺

A Bespoke Catio completed in Cornwall, near the seaside town of Helston 🌊🐾

This one was an absolute pleasure to build on the rear of a bungalow, designed with plenty of shelving for a cat that loves to be up high.

Featuring a generous access doorway, multiple climbing levels, and built on a solid bed of sleepers sitting neatly on the grass. We also built a bespoke sleeper planter into the base, adding a really natural feel to the whole space.

The sleeper base works brilliantly for grass installations, and the customer plans to grow grass throughout the catio itself , something I think will make a huge difference for the cat, creating a much more natural and enriching environment 🌱

And the views… absolutely unbelievable. 🌊
From the top shelf you can see right out towards the Cornish coast. Five-star views from the highest perch , better than most people get out of their windows! 😹

Introducing the Cat-Case 😻🐾

The Cat Case is a custom-built enrichment feature that connects shelves and levels within the catio, creating a beautiful and practical staircase for your cats to climb, explore, lounge and enjoy.

It adds another level of movement and enrichment while keeping that clean Boy Bespoke aesthetic throughout the build.

These can now be added to:

• Any future Boy Bespoke catio builds
• Existing Boy Bespoke catios
• Catios originally built by other companies

Recently, I’ve had a lot more enquiries from people wanting to upgrade and enrich their existing catios with the Boy Bespoke style and feel, which is something I’m really excited to now offer more of.

A stunning large Bespoke Catio completed 🐦🐾

This secure timber catio includes a double-door airlock entry system for peace of mind, along with lots of open space for shelves, furniture and enrichment.
The whole design feels open, elegant and calming while still giving Gizmo plenty of room to zoom about safely outdoors.

Safe to say Gizmo has settled in perfectly already. She now spends her days watching birds, enjoying the fresh air and supervising the neighbours’ daily activities from above like a fluffy little security guard on permanent patrol. 🐾

Rafi can be a little nervous, so this gives him the best of both worlds.
Positioned to overlook the garden’s bird area, it’s now his favourite spot to sit in the sun and watch the wildlife.🐦

One of my latest Catios in Bristol 😻🍁🐦

A freestanding catio raised on a solid brick base for strength and durability.

Built for a beautiful Maine C**n called Rafi, this bespoke timber catio was designed with a larger cat in mind , bigger shelves, stronger enrichments, and plenty of space to relax safely.
Rafi can be a little nervous, so this gives him the best of both worlds , enjoying the outdoors without the risk of him bolting.

Positioned to overlook the garden’s bird area, it’s now his favourite spot to sit in the sun and watch the wildlife.🐦

Finished with a bespoke hideaway box and multiple shelves for lounging, climbing, and a bit of classic cat nosiness.

Built over a few days in the sunshine – an absolute pleasure working in Bristol again. 📍
