The Nurture Project

The Nurture Project Horticultural therapist The Nurture Project is a small organisation that uses gardening to promote health and well-being.

It aims to provide an impartial and safe space for adults to improve their mental and physical well-being in a friendly but structured environment. No gardening experience is required, and participation is offered on both a one-to-one and small group basis. The project is based in tranquil gardens in Kettlestone, near Fakenham, and will be staffed by experienced horticultural therapists.

We grow many varieties of sunflowers at The Nurture Project to add splashes of colour in the garden- they are especially noticeable at the moment as autumn arrives 🍂

We’ll be at Bishop's House Garden this Thursday as part of the Norfolk Green Care Festival! 🌱

We’ll have a stall there between 12pm and 4pm with a number of other Green Care projects to talk about what we do.

All are welcome and there will be plant sales, refreshments and music to help raise funds for the network- plus you get to take a look around the stunning gardens! 🎶🪴

We've had a few new followers on here so we wanted to re-introduce ourselves 👋

We're a small organisation made up of horticultural therapists and volunteers that deliver nature-based interventions for our clients.

Clients can take part in a number of activities, including walking, bushcraft and gardening 🌱
