Notice of safety works - Edward VII Memorial Lamp

Over the coming days, the Edward VII memorial lamp located in Fakenham Market Place is due to be carefully removed as part of essential safety works.

A recent structural survey found that the lamp is suffering from significant corrosion. To ensure public safety and protect this important historic feature, it will be respectfully removed and examined.

This is a complex conservation project, and any assessment and repair process may take some time. We appreciate your patience and understanding whilst this important work is carried out.
