Tub neglect.....

It happens, we get it! We all at times neglect our prized possessions and let things get away from ourselves.

A recent customer contacted us and asked us to give their tub in inspection and thorough inspection. The tub had been off for 5 months and although they had thought it was drained and winterised...it wasn't 🫣

We know the customer normally keeps the tub in pristine condition, it's always spotless, but sometimes things happen 🤷‍♂️

We spent the best part of a day getting this big beauty back to life, there were a few other issues with requiring a new heating element and pump due to corrosion from the chemical water sitting all this time, and of course a good good thorough clean...but it's back alive and kicking!

Your hot tub’s heating element and the benefits of servicing!

Both things we tend not to think too much on, but really should. How efficient is your heating element performing?

Worst case scenario = it trips your tub every time it tries to heat. Hot Tub heating elements are recommended to be replaced every 2-3 years (usage dependant), when was the last time yours was?

As the element ages, the easy way of understanding what happens is they become less efficient and breakdown resulting in higher running costs due to the electricity constantly being on whilst the element is trying to heat the water in a much less efficient way due to its condition.

During a service or inspection of your tub, one of your components we check is the heating element. It is inspected and tested electrically to find out its condition and a report given on any actions/advice to be taken.
