Well the phrase "It's the end of an Era" gets used now and again, but this time we truly mean it. Operator 0001 Alistair Bowie who has been with the company since the very first day has officially retired. 37 years service! WOW! Alistair followed founder Sandra Easton from then Tartan Plant to begin a new journey with newly formed Lomond Plant. A tremendous leap of faith way back then, this will never be forgotten by the family. We have to say in those 37 years Alistair's dedication, loyalty, good humour and diligence has been second to none. Alistair you will be truly missed by all at Lomond Plant. NORTH WEST ENGLAND

Pick Up/Delivery Driver/Yard Person

Lomond Plant Limited are currently recruiting for a Pick Up/Delivery Driver/Yard Person to work in and around North West and Midlands Areas.

The role will suit someone who has a good knowledge of the plant hire industry, or similar.

Job Details:

- Carry out delivery and collections of small plant and attachments as and when required on customer sites.
- Assist with general yard duties including washing machinery, refueling etc

Key Skills & Experience:

- Be reactive and punctual at all times.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in plant, equipment and associated attachments, would be an advantage.
- CSCS qualification is preferable but not essential.
- Full UK Driving license is essential with Category B + E (Trailer preferred).

- Carry out repairs and maintenance as and when required on customer sites.

Key Skills & Experience:

- Be reactive and punctual at all times.
- Excellent communication skills .
- Experience in plant, equipment and associated attachments, repair and maintenance is essential.
- CITB/NVQ qualification is preferable but not essential.
- Full UK Driving license is essential.
