Caerhays Estate Special Event

The magnificent Caerhays Estate near St Austell, has recently featured on two TV shows, ‘Rick Stein’s Cornwall’ series 2 and Fern Britton’s ‘A Year By The Sea’.

On Thursday 16th June, Caerhays is kindly hosting an exclusive special event for the National Garden Scheme. The Estate will not be open to the general public but at 11am NGS visitors will be welcomed with coffee and treated to a private guided tour of the gardens by the owner, Charles Williams.

In Spring, Caerhays is renowned for it’s world class Magnolias and Camellias. However in June, it’s the collection of summer flowering Styrax and Stewartias which takes centre stage.

Following the guided tour, guests will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch with wine in the Castle, where they can continue their conversations with Charles Williams, who’s wealth of gardening knowledge and experience in Cornwall, is unmatched. They will then have the afternoon to explore the extensive estate grounds and parklands at leisure.

Pre-booking is essential. Cost £65 per person.

This is your opportunity to a pair of tickets for the special opening of the gardens at St Michael's Mount this Saturday, 4 June from 1pm until 4.30pm.

All proceeds from the event will be going to the National Garden Scheme and forms part of our celebrations for Her Majesty The Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
