A complete transformation from start to finish.
This project involved the construction of a single-storey rear extension, along with extensive alterations to the existing property. The original kitchen and dining room were opened up and reconfigured to create one large, light-filled kitchen, dining and family living space, with a separate utility area incorporated into the new layout.
We managed the entire build from start to finish, coordinating and completing every stage of the project to ensure the same high standard was maintained throughout. From the structural work and initial shell through to the final finishing details, the whole project was delivered by our team.
At the heart of the new space is a Howdens Elmbridge kitchen in Porcelain, professionally fitted and finished with traditional detailing, a large central island and complementary oak flooring running throughout the room. The combination of the warm Porcelain cabinetry, natural oak and contrasting black ironmongery gives the finished space a timeless feel while still working perfectly as a modern family kitchen.
Along the rear wall we designed and built a completely bespoke fitted unit, made specifically to integrate seamlessly with the rest of the room. As well as providing additional storage and display space, the cabinetry discreetly houses the amplifier powering the Sonos ceiling speaker system, with dedicated space incorporated for the future addition of turntables and a record collection.
The project included:
• Single-storey rear extension
• Structural alterations and knock-through
• Complete kitchen and utility installation
• Bespoke fitted cabinetry and storage
• Oak flooring throughout
• Full electrical installation
• Plumbing and heating works
• Plastering and decorating
• All carpentry and joinery
• Building and finishing works
Every element was considered as part of the overall design, right down to the bespoke joinery, lighting, ironmongery and finishing details.
