This week, we’ve been really board… and next week we are getting plastered 🤣

We’ve moved upstairs to begin plasterboarding on the first floor of the extension, and the new rooms are now beginning to take shape, giving us a much clearer idea of how the finished space will look.

Next week, we’ll be getting some plaster on the walls as we move onto the next stage of the build.

The spacious master bedroom with its own ensuite, along with a second ensuite for an existing bedroom, will give this family greater flexibility and help make those busy mornings a little less hectic.

🏡 Good roofs don't shout for attention. They just look like they've always been there.

☀️ More homeowners are using their roof to reduce their energy bills. ⚡

The additional roof space created on both the main property and the new double garage provided the perfect opportunity to install a large solar PV system.

The homeowner is expected to generate enough solar energy to cover four months of their annual electricity needs. With battery storage included, excess solar energy can be stored and used later, helping maximise the benefit of their solar investment.

The installation included 18 solar panels creating a 8.4kWp solar PV system paired with battery storage. The system is expected to generate around 7,321kWh of electricity each year.

🏡 Behind every smooth renovation is a lot of invisible coordination

This week the roofline replacement continues with new fascias, soffits and guttering which provide long-lasting protection from the elements and enhance the property's kerb appeal.

Jarvis Scaffolding Services LTD have returned to site to erect scaffolding at the rear of the property and Kembla Ltd return shortly after to finish the solar panel install.

With three separate trades and one schedule, coordination is what keeps a project like this running on time, without unnecessary disruption for the homeowner.
