🚪 Every transformation has an awkward middle stage…

At this point, with the deep blue shading, lighter areas and all that bright yellow masking tape, the door has taken on a slightly dramatic, almost anime-style painted look. 😂

It’s actually a great example of what happens before the final finish. The surrounding area is carefully masked off, the glass and fittings are protected, and the colour is built up gradually to achieve a smooth, even result.

It may look a little ....um...artistic halfway through, but there’s method behind the madness.

This lovely couple had a particular colour they wanted to match in a shade of grey/blue they have on their wallpaper in the dining room. In the end they mixed different colours till they got what they wanted. We then took that sample to our specialist hard-wearing paint suppliers and they matched it perfectly 👌
