RIP Bob 💔 we're absolutely heartbroken here at HSJ 😭Mrs HSJ and I were looking forward to a few Friday night drinks however life had different plans. At 15 years old Bob, our workshop foreman has been unsteady on his legs for a while now. However, on Friday he took a turn for the worse and we had to rush to the emergency vets. This one was a little more involved than simply replacing a few windows…

What started life as an ageing conservatory has now been transformed into a bespoke oak-framed garden room designed to feel like it had always belonged to the house.

Carefully rebuilt to modern standards, with bespoke oak framing, custom glazing and a newly tiled roof, the finished result is a warm and timeless space our clients can enjoy for years to come.

Ending the week with this beautiful oak framed pergola completed for a new build home in Nottinghamshire 🌿

Designed, handcrafted, and installed by our team using traditional joinery techniques and premium green oak- adding the character the house deserved from day one.

After cutting the tenons and forming the mortises, here’s the satisfying part - one full side of this oak conservatory laid out and ready for site assembly.

We like to make sure everything behaves itself in the workshop before it heads off to its new home in Edingley.

Measured, jointed, test fitted… then raised the proper way.
