We recently completed a CAT B fit-out at The Pattern Shop in Newcastle – a Grade II listed building with roots in 1800s steam locomotive works.

Across four floors, we installed 1,215 linear metres of Beam 100, with the top-floor ceiling design inspired by railway tracks – a subtle nod to the building’s industrial past.

The result? A contemporary workspace for 600 people that celebrates its history while delivering exceptional acoustic performance.

This movable wall installation was originally completed by another supplier over 10 years ago. When Parkeray was told the panel finishes couldn’t be updated, they contacted Style Group.

We successfully refurbished the existing system by replacing the boards, delivering a cost-effective upgrade without the need for full replacement — extending the lifespan of the installation while reducing waste.

Mental health is one of the most important pillars of wellbeing, yet many of us carry stress, pressure, and struggles silently until the weight becomes overwhelming.

What we often forget is that one honest conversation can change everything. Opening up to someone you trust is not weakness, and your struggles should never be seen as a burden to others. Sometimes, speaking about what you’re carrying is the first step toward lifting it.

Growth and healing take time. There will be highs and lows, good days and difficult ones, but it is a journey we all experience in different ways. Needing support does not make you less capable — it makes you human.

Equally, if you notice someone struggling, take the time to listen. A small act of support or understanding can have a greater impact than we realise.
