For the first time since 1985… County Durham YFC are Northern Area Field Day winners and have come home with three out of the four Northern Area trophies! An achievement none of us dared to hope would happen yesterday - but an achievement that has come from the sheer talent of our members across the board! We wouldn’t be here without the hard work and determination of everyone that supports Young Farmers - parents, judges, stewards, sponsors, past members and all other volunteers - without which we wouldn’t be writing this post! The Northern Area Field Day Committee worked hard to ensure the day ran smoothly as Northern Area Field Day hosts, together with our brilliant staff members Clare and Jodie and amazing support from Darlington Farmers Auction Mart. Thank you to everyone for making this happen - let’s enjoy this incredible achievement! We’re small but mighty 💪💙💛
