The latest completed job. The customers contacted me as they wanted to replace and old rotten shed and repair some rotten window frames and sills.

The shed was replaced with another 10x8 shed onto a pre-existing concrete base and the frames and sill were repaired with oak ready for painting.

The latest completed project. The construction of 2 built in cupboards either side of a log burner with a set of glazed doors. I also built a set of cupboards in the porch for the customer to store shoes/boots coats and stool.

The latest completed job. The customer wanted to created a feature wall on bare wall using slatted acoustic panels. The panels have been set off the wall to create some visual depth and the electric fire reinstalled.

The customer intends to paint the walls either side.

A small job recently completed. The render on the gable end of the customers house had failed and a large section had fallen off. Rather than re rendering the customer decided to have the gable end clad to match the dormer.

In the first photo you can see the exposed brick work after any remaining render and been removed and second photo shows the cladding installed.

The customers were after some built in storage either side of two log burners in the property.

The cupboards were designed and built to maximise the available storage space without protruding into the room.

The cupboards have been painted in a vanilla white satin paint to match the colour of the existing walls.

Two jobs completed a couple of months back that I forgot to post.

The first job was a replacement ‘Door’ for Point. The old door was completely rotten and was letting water in in multiple places. The new door was built from accoya wood and painted in Dulux weathershield red paint.

The second job was the construction of a door frame with glass to create an internal porch. The door was pre made and bought to match the frame.

The latest finished project.

I was contacted by a local primary school to replace an old shelter, that had rotten post and the roof had been blown off on a number of occasions.

The new structure has been built using pressure treated timber and cladding and a polycarbonate roof to provide a long lasting building to be used in the years to come.

The entry way and window spaces will be sealed using a clear plastic fabric to provide a dry space for play and learning and the ramp allows for the space to be accessed by everyone.

A slightly different project to my usual work. I was contacted by the customer to see if I could build some teak seat tops for a boat. The old seat tops were believed to have been on the boat since the 1980s and were no longer fit for purpose. As you can see from the photos the new seat tops are a drastic improvement over the old tops.

The new seat tops were also built from teak and required a combination of techniques to match the pattern on the old seat tops.

The seat tops have been coated in three coats of teak oil which has brought out the natural colour and figure of the teak.

Just finished up this custom built in wardrobe for a customer. The wardrobe features 4 compartments with sliding doors. Three of the spaces will be used for hanging clothes with double rails whilst the 4th has a combination of shelves and draws to maximise the available storage.
