From Uneven to Finished Oak Flooring 👌
A great transformation on this renovation project.
The original floor was badly out of level, with variations of up to 50mm across the room. To achieve a solid, flat base for the new flooring, we carried out a full floor preparation process:
✅ Applied 3 separate layers of self-levelling compound to bring the floor back to level
✅ Installed insulated tile backer boards, fully adhered to the prepared subfloor
✅ Created a stable, thermally efficient substrate ready for the final finish
✅ Supplied and fitted engineered oak flooring throughout the room
The result is a perfectly flat floor with a beautiful natural oak finish that completely transforms the space while improving comfort and insulation.
