Big News for Heritage Skills in North Norfolk!
​After years of pilot programs and bespoke sessions, I am thrilled to officially open the doors to my new Heritage Training Centre near North Walsham!
​This workshop is a dedicated space for anyone—from industry pros to historic homeowners—to get hands-on with the traditional skills that keep our heritage buildings standing.
​What’s happening at the workshop:
✨ Intro to Lime Plastering: Comprehensive 3-day monthly courses (flexible 1-day bookings available).
✨ Bespoke 1-to-1 Training: Tailored entirely to your specific project or goals.
✨ CITB Registered: Training may be subsidized for CITB members and their employees!
​Looking Ahead: Later this year, I’ll be hosting local experts to lead workshops in flint knapping, spar making for thatch, and more.

Over the last year I have been working hard to set up a heritage training centre here in Norfolk, and I'm thrilled to announce a big milestone: our first course! This will be a three-day, hands on Introduction to Lime Plastering & Heritage Conservation, from December 2nd–4th at my new workshop in Smallburgh, near North Walsham, Norfolk.

It's been a delight to have spent yesterday teaching the architects Feilden Clegg Bradleys Studios about traditional lime plaster, insulating plasters, and cow dung and lime mixes, all in the setting of the Hop Pole Inn of Limpley Stoke. I look forward to the second part of the course next week. Thanks to all who took part and got stuck in!
