Job Done ✔️

A tricky one, this one! After removing the wallpaper, we carried out a full sand down, applied Zinsser Gardz, followed by a mist coat to highlight any imperfections.

We then completed Stage 1 filling and gave all the walls another thorough sand down before priming.

After a detailed inspection, Stage 2 filling has now been carried out. I’ve decided to go the extra mile with the filling on this one to make sure the walls are as smooth and as good as possible before moving forward. 😬

The ceilings were plastered last week, and the mist coat/first coat has now been applied.

Hopefully, we’ll get this one ticked off tomorrow — if not, Thursday! 👌🏼

3-Bedroom Redecoration Underway 🛠️

We’ve officially started work on this 3-bedroom redecoration project.

Today, we removed all existing wallpaper throughout the three rooms ahead of the main works commencing next week. This allows us to thoroughly inspect the walls, identify any blown or loose plaster, and ensure all surfaces are properly prepared and made good.

The ceilings will be skimmed tomorrow, ready for the next stage of the project.

Before any filling and painting takes place, all walls will be fully sanded and treated with Zinsser Gardz to ensure the best possible surface preparation and a high-quality finish.

Preparation is key to achieving the perfect end result.

Stay tuned to see the finished transformation! 👀
