Another job completed in Hawkinge using Raj green sandstone slabs. The ground was very wet, so we excavated down to 270mm, installed 100mm of crush, and then finished it off with 100mm of Type 1 sub base to ensure a solid foundation.

Just to mention, any existing cross joints were already there before we started our work, was only the new section we added. ✌🏼

We completed this job for a customer in Dover. It proved quite challenging, as the existing wall was old and uneven, making it difficult to get the fence panels aligned as straight as possible. We repaired and repointed the damaged sections and added a new pier on the left-hand side, and on the right we had to set the top course first to get a solid, level base before installing the fence.

The balustrade around the patio area was unsafe, so we custom-built a new one using timber posts and spindles, fixed in with concrete screws.

All in all, a tricky project, but the finished result is solid, safe, and built to last. 🪴🪏🏡👨‍🌾

Happy Monday everyone 😁🧑‍🌾🪏🪴

A small job we completed last week for a lovely customer in New Romney.
They had tried everything to keep their lawn green, but leather jackets kept coming back, so in the end they decided to give up on the grass. We installed a pea shingle area instead, giving them a low-maintenance space they no longer have to worry about or maintain.

Charming Cottage in Lyminge

We were asked to transform the garden using a mix of materials. For the project, we sourced new heritage bricks that had an old, timeless look and paired them with well-worn block paving in a beautiful mix of red and yellow tones. We built a small, single-brick retaining wall and added a step, finishing it off with some old flagstone slabs the homeowner had dug up from her garden.

The result is absolutely stunning. The combination of the heritage bricks, rustic paving, and reclaimed flagstones blends perfectly with the cottage’s character, creating a truly eye-catching feature.

Saxon Field Job – Canterbury

The customer reported a persistent smell coming from her toilet, which we discovered was due to wastewater backflow. Upon investigation, we exposed the manhole and identified the issue: the pipe was backfalling towards the house.

To resolve the problem, we cut one end of the 160mm pipe and fitted a coupling. We then packed the pipe with concrete to prevent any future sagging and ensured a proper flow into the manhole. Once the repair was complete, we reinstated the area to its original condition.

The customer was very pleased with how quickly and efficiently we completed the work, especially after previously having the issue unsuccessfully addressed by another company.
