Can I Burrow This?
Gather round children it’s time for a little story. Today’s story is called “The Rabbit and The Virus” written by Red. Our story begins in a distant land called Porcelain. The people of Porcelain aren’t like you or me they a short, little taller than midgets but not taller than Umpa Lumpas. They talk in a strange series of vowel sounds and random fast noises. Their books are written in mystic symbols and they take photographs of everything!
As strange as they were the Porcelese were master builders. Their lands were filled with factories and they had closed themselves off from other lands with a giant wall that transversed the entire length of their land. Their factories were so colossal and strong in number that the people of Porcelain had not seen the blue of the sky in many centuries. The toxic smog was not the only pollution these factories omitted. Toxic waste had been slowly leaking into their water supply, mutating any man, woman or animal that drank or bathed in it. The toxicity of the city had gotten to such dangerous levels it threatened to overspill the wall and spread to foreign lands.
One fateful day in late 2019 a mutant Bat flew down into a market and replenished its thirst on a cocktail of animal blood, tainted water, urine and CoronaTM. After satisfying its thirst the Bat set off for distant caves to sleep in. As the Bat took off from the bleak puddle it had just hydrated itself from, it sneezed and coughed. The Bat came crashing down into a butchers stall in the market, coughing and sneezing all over the Butchers choice cuts. There between the Dog Steak and Whale Testicle the Bat drew its last breath, coughed and died.
Unaware of his infected stock the Butcher had an extremely good sale day selling every leg of Cat, Hamster Chop and Shark P***s in stock even the infected Bat had been sold (100% profit on that bad boy). The bad had tainted all the Butchers meat and soon the virus spread through the land of Porcelain. Once the virus had jumped species to humans it became airborne and spread faster than wildfire. The virus engulfed the globe and by March 2020 had forced every country in the world into quarantine. It was here in quarantine some 5000 miles away that a little rabbit named Red began his journey.
