‘Kitchen/Utility Extension’

This project started off with a full house fascia & Soffit change to Agate grey with new rowens, leading into a new utility room extension/bootroom and a full kitchen renovation. The customer supplied the kitchen and it was the teams first from DIY Kitchens with new quartz worktops and new flooring throughout.
The outside was then landscaped to suit the old decking etc.

Another cracking project by the team with another satisfied customer.

Preview

The ‘Loons’ welcome Elgin City to the Alpha Projects Stadium @ Station Park on Saturday for a festive period William Hill League2 fixture of some merit with only one point separating the sides. The match will also see the halfway point reached in the league campaign for both sides.

As Jim Weir was quoted during the week, the Athies mid-term report card would send out mixed messages. Some excellent performances and results alongside a few second half collapses in particular, though we have especially in recent weeks had to cope with an injury and illness crisis which to be fair has decimated the match day squad.

Speaking earlier in the week, the manager was hopeful that a couple of the players who have been missing recently would have recovered to take their place in the starting eleven against Allan Hale’s side. That decision will be made following two training sessions this week, the second of which was scheduled for Boxing Day morning. Disappointingly however Jake Dolzanski so consistent in the heart of the ‘Loons’ defence throughout the campaign will not be available for the clash against his old team mates as he serves a one match ban having been issued with his sixth yellow card of the season last weekend.

The Station Park faithful will certainly be hoping that their side will commence the fixture with City in the same high tempo manner they showed in the final quarter of last week’s match with Edinburgh City when they almost snatched a point from the ‘jaws of defeat', only thwarted in the end from achieving that aim by a linesman’s flag to deny Martin Rennie a late equaliser.

Prior to that the leeway had been reduced with one of the Station Park goals of the season from Jake Sutherland after some great team work in the fast flowing build up. More of the same on Saturday please! In fact Jake was also on the score sheet when the sides met at Boroughbriggs in October with a 21st minute counter. On the day however two second half goals from Ryan Sargent clinched the points for the home side.

Elgin have a big day on the horizon in mid January to look forward to in when they journey to non league Camelon Juniors in the fourth round of the cup, Jim Weir who of course managed the Morayshire outfit back in the day in no doubt that they will be doughty opponents on Saturday with yet another hard fought ninety minutes in front of his players.

Home fans will no doubt be hoping however that the players bring the footballing year of 2025 to an end with a much needed victory.

Referee for the clash which will hopefully attract a larger than of late attendance is Lewis Hogarth who was last in town for the KDM Trophy game with Dundee ‘B’ in September.

C’mon the ‘Loons.’
