Today we said goodbye to a gentleman that started off in my life a customer and left a friend, a mentor and someone we should all look up to and admire.
Jim Taylor ( Mr T to me and the guys) came to me almost ten years ago looking for an oak garage to house his newly ordered Morgan!

Mr T stayed in my life since then and became someone that always would give me a boost when needed, especially latterly, advice and sometimes just a damn good laugh.

Seeing so many people at your funeral today showed you made an impact on not only me but a huge amount of people!

RIP Mr T you were a legend

Driveway gates and garage doors where on the cards this week in kirriemuir. Made and fitted by ourselves.
This beautiful old manse was in need of some new work done in preparation for the new drive going in soon.
We re-used the original drive gate hinges as they were beautiful and original to the house. Hand forged and with the ‘cross’ detail on the end we had to bring them back to life!
Large garage/barn doors made and the worn out metal garage door replaced with the customer supplied hardwood door with siding to finish. All ready to paint!

Another porch needing re-made in kirriemuir!
The roof was replaced a few years back by another firm but the frame was at its last days and too rotten to repair! We made an identical timber frame to the porch, supported the roof, removed the entire window frames and fitted our new timber window frame. Glazed and finished with paint to the customers desired colour. Kai came along after and painted the frame for the customer and it’s set to last many more years again!

With winter coming this large old ,but well made, two storey conservatory was needing some TLC, and as with most of us feeling the pinch the cost of a full rebuild was out of the question! We removed carefully the most rotten parts and spliced in new timbers and sills, replaced window beads and then gave the whole building a fresh coat of paint!

Recently asked to rebuild this old treehouse deck in Finavon Angus to its former glory. The building itself will be worked on at a later date, but the challenge of re-building this rotten deck frame 4m up in the air and utilising the trees and surrounding worked out well!

A project with a difference for us earlier this year! A dog hydrotherapy pool! We took a bare concrete block room, and transformed it to several different areas including a 5mx5m doggy pool!
Lots of work but the outcome has made our customer happy and many dogs happy with there new exercise place for VIP dogs!
