Hope everyone is having a great weekend! 🙌

Mark here from MCG Plastering — currently enjoying a holiday with the family 🌴☀️

Even though I’m away, I’m still keeping an eye on messages and taking bookings for when I’m back.

Hard to believe we’re already heading towards the final few months of 2026! 😳 So if you’ve got that bedroom, hallway, artex ceiling or wee repair you’ve been meaning to get sorted, now’s a good time to get in touch and get something in the diary before the end of the year.

☀️ MCG Plastering is officially on holiday! 🇪🇸🍹

After a very busy few months, it’s time to put the trowel down for a bit and enjoy some much-needed family time at Holiday Village Mallorca. ❤️

Being self-employed means it can be hard to switch off, but these are the moments all the hard graft is for — making memories with the bairns. ☀️🏖️

I’ll still keep an eye on messages and enquiries when I can, but replies may be a little slower than usual.

Thanks again to everyone who continues to support MCG Plastering — customers old and new, recommendations, shares and likes. It genuinely means a lot. 🙌

Now… time for some sun! ☀️🍹🇪🇸

Still living with old artex ceilings? 👀

This one was scraped back, properly prepared and skimmed to leave a smooth, modern finish ready for painting.

The original cornice was carefully worked around and kept intact, maintaining the character of the room.

What a difference 👌 Before ➡️ After

Another kitchen given a fresh new look by MCG Plastering.

Old Artex ceiling covered and skimmed smooth, along with the walls, leaving everything with a clean finish ready for paint. 🙌

No need to live with dated Artex — in many cases it can be prepared and skimmed over to give you a completely smooth, modern finish.
