Howford Training- Day care/work placement for adults with additional needs Day care provider for adults with additional needs. Providers of kindling. Currently we only work on a Wednesday and Thursday weekly.

We work with adults with learning disabilities from the age of 16 + we aim to give them a real work like environment to allow them to learn and grow and possibly lead onto other employment. However logs, kindling and soft wood logs can be purchased in the trust shop onsite (depending on stock).

This is something we’re being met with at Howford. Being a sole trader providing a service to adults with Learning disabilities and their families. The councils unwillingness to support our service and allow individuals to gain work skills, social skills and just generally get away from home to their ‘work’ so sad and fustrating.
