So we're back at work again and big changes have happened. Updates to follow on these changes.

But this week we have been baking in the heat as everyone else has.
Last two days we have been up on a mez
We have hung some 2 inch trunking and fitted a few led battens to it. 3 sets of on 3 seperate pir's so each isle or area will come on individually.

Was a pleasure helping the guys out at the pentagon group scunthorpe this morning.

Call out on Tuesday to lights not working.
Found breaker had tripped, tried to reset and tripped instantly.
Quick test showed all cores down.
Quick look around showed some burning marks from a fitting up in the ceiling.

So fast forward a few days and hire of a cherry picker.
Mote fault finding and disconnection of so called burnt out fitting. And happy days breaker resets.

Do replace with a new one electrical ufo high bay fitting.

Whole workshop could do with a new lighting scheme but with the current climate they can't do it so time will tell with the rest of the fittings.

But we now have one happy workshop with all there lights working again

Not Gona lie this has been an absolute nightmare to sort out today. 1 down 170 to go.

These are the new afdd boards that we are apparently first in the country to be fitting.
They have finally passed there manufacturer tests and with us now.

We have the measurements for trunking and making notes on how to make it quicker and easier to fit together.

Keep your eyes pealed for more progress. Sorry if it looks the same all the time but it's going to be unfortunately

So we took delivery of one block cluster boards today.
Also this week we have had all the afdd breakers delivered. Not sure how many ocks but I know I came to the tune of £16k.
Will be posting pictures in the Coming days of progress.

We also took delivery of the second block panel board. We now have a trolley made up by our store man and has made it twice as quick to move to beast into the switch room and easier to lift in place due to everyone not being worn out from the big lift

Just been having a bit of a look through old photos in the gallery.

Can't believe how much the business has changed.

Sole trader to Ltd company.
Apprentices, employees, secretary,
New vans.

And all of a sudden boom all gone.
But you know what it doesn't matter.

Back now to sole trader, sub contracting with the odd job here and there and I can't be any happier.

No we don't push major money and large profits but I get on great jobs and earn a wage regular.

The jobs I get on are high end jobs and I have seen so much I never though I would see.

Roll on the future and see what's going to happen as we progress again as a business who knows what's in store

Well it's been an interesting week.

We have had drawing with wrong measurements so now have to alter.

We have finished riser cupboard Containment.

And after it took 8 of us to lift this panel board into the switch room, it was then a battle to turn it and position it.
Thankfully now on the wall secure

Just got to finish trunking round it and get ready for armoured cables coming next week.

Going to busy from now on for a few months.

Unfortunately these are the smaller of the 10 panel boards to be fitted. My back is already hurting

Going to be an interesting job this one.

Got one of the lads swapping these for led panel lights.

Halving the amount and staggering them to give the light output.

Going from 4.8kw an hour on lighting to just over 1kw an hour.

Customer will see the benefit within 6 months in this shop.

Big learning curve this building to set us up nicely for the next 11.
