Check out these before and after pics from a recent job on Church Road, Low Fell! The stonework had been painted, which was causing damage, so we brought in a blast cleaning specialist to strip it back. After that, we did a full cut out and repoint using lime mortar and replaced any damaged stones. The chimney was initially just going to be repointed, but once we got up there, we realised it needed a full rebuild due to severe damage. We ordered stone from North East Stone, and our skilled banker mason dressed it to match the original moulding perfectly. The customer was thrilled with the transformation!

Here’s a before and after of a wall in Lowfell. It was in need of rebuilding after a tree growing behind the wall was causing it to lean over. It was important for the customer that it was in keeping with the street so we used an old terraced brick and reused the old coping stones. The customer was delighted with the outcome.
