We were called out to an emergency leak on a customer’s central heating. They advised us they weren’t covered for track and trace by the they’re insurance and if we could help them out. It didn’t take us long to discover where it was coming from with a water stained living room ceiling directly below a radiator in the bedroom above. When investigated we found the joiners nailed straight through the central heating pipework from when the house was built unfortunately it has took this long for the nails to rust away and to spring the leak on the homeowner.

We carried out a repair and and made sure the central heating system held pressure. The customer now can contact their insurance to take over and rectify the damage it has caused with the report given.
