Our Company has been established for over 20 years and can supply the whole commercial and industrial economic spectrum. Our range of customers is only exceeded by our virtually unlimited design capabilities. You might be a locally based specifier or a globally operating architect. us to produce a single piece of processed glass or two hundred splash backs for an apartment block. We do not differentiate between an order for five or five thousand precision edged glass shelves, splash backs or architectural balustrades. Our superior service, quality and attention to detail remains the same however large the project. At our production facility in Gateshead, Tyne & Wear, we manufacture insulated glazing units, tempered safety glass, decorative leaded, beveled, sandblasted and processed glass. Donwood also manufactures a wide array of hermitically sealed unit products for the insulation of buildings. Being operational for over 17 years has enabled us to perfect our double glazed products in order to meet our customer’s specified requirements. Our double glazed products, guaranteed for 5 years, comply with British Standard Institute EN 1279 quality regulations.

Products

-Applications - we produce a complex range of finished glass for a wide range of domestic and commercial applications. In the bathroom it can be used for shower cubicles, splash backs and mirrors, whilst in the kitchen, processed glass is often used for breakfast bars and counter tops.

-Architectural - processed glass is frequently used architecturally in balustrades, staircases, coloured walls and screens particularly in restaurants and hotels.

-Furniture - we also supply the bespoke glass furniture market producing table tops, cabinets and shelving in a range of unlimited styles and colours.

-Machinery - our specialist CNC machinery cuts glass to the customer’s requirements, which can then be etched or painted and polished before being tempered in our high-temperature computer-controlled ovens.

We handle all of the processes on site and have total control over quality. Absolutely nothing is sub-contracted out.

We can also provide customers with a quick turn-around if necessary and, because we also maintain large glass stocks, we are very competitive.

-Showroom - Advance Glass Design have a dedicated showroom at our Tyneside premises to provide architects and specifiers with the opportunity to see how glass is processed and how it can be used in building design.
