We have been to a number of emergency call outs on leased buildings recently where we are clearing blockages and our cctv is picking up damaged drains and collapsed drains this is good for our business.
But the tenants of these buildings are finding out that they are responsible for the damages and having arguments with the landlords on who’s to pay for the damages.
And in most of the agreements we are seeing it’s down to the tenants.
We feel sad for the tenants as some of this damage was probably there before the tenants took over the leasing of the buildings.

And good advice for the tenants would be to always check your agreements what you actually are responsible for and what ever you are responsible for get checked out before any agreements are signed.

Have your own surveys carried out on the drains and the buildings this could save a hole lot of cash and unwanted arguments with your landlords.
Even if it’s a brand new building don’t take the developers word for it get your own surveys carried out.
And have your drains cleaned and surveyed regularly to avoid any disruption to your business after all this is your investment guys many thanks for reading our post.

Went to a job today and this was a result of a care home using recycled toilet paper it doesn’t break up or dissolve, we have found it’s causing big problems in commercial premises as the paper seems to be more used. This is what was pulled out and funny enough the drains started flowing once we kindly removed this!
