Emergency repair carried out in Chatham over the weekend.

A minor leak behind the toilet had gone unnoticed. The floor collapsed and, where the toilet had never been fixed down, it was only a matter of time before someone went through the floor.

Flooring replaced, with extra support added and a new toilet securely fixed down.

Not all jobs are pretty but sometimes it’s about making things safe for the customer.

Plans for a new bathroom are underway 👌

A few jobs completed for my customers recently. All issues, if not dealt with, can cause stress, inconvenience and further damage/costs.

- Something as simple as a worn-out washer can leave you without a flushing toilet.

- A slightly corroded radiator can lead to all kinds of water damage in your home.

- A cylinder that has had its day can leave you without hot water and heating.

- Bathroom taps that have seized due to their age and a build up of scale - nobody wants to clean their teeth at the kitchen sink 😐

A bit of a change from my domestic Plumbing this afternoon.

I visited a commercial customer to remove a broken/redundant pressure reducing valve, along with unnecessary pipework. The pipework included a couple of dead legs, which can cause contamination.

Pipework looking a lot less busy now and contamination risks removed 👌

Basin tap replaced this morning. The old tap was dripping and the lever handle showed signs of corrosion. Not worth repairing it. The new tap is solid, functional and can be serviced in the future 👌

Water heater replaced for a customer in Tonbridge today. The old one had started to rust and was leaking across the bathroom floor. The outer body was at risk of collapse, which could have caused a serious flood.
