Bishopbriggs : 2 storey side extension, single storey front porch, and remodelling : Planning Application submitted
The extensions generally adopt the same design approach as the existing house, with the windows and external doors as simple openings within a rendered masonry wall mass. The materiality of the extension at first floor however takes a more contemporary approach. While respecting the character and appearance of the existing house and its immediate neighbours, this acknowledges the corner location and breaks down the composition to give greater legibility, while reinforcing the subservient mass, scale, and form of the extension.
