Interesting one today. Was originally called out to change over a leaking kitchen tap. Unfortunately the tap had leaked that badly it had caused so much damage to the worktop a new tap couldn’t be fitted. Rigged up some temporary taps to prevent even further damage and to allow the customer to still use the sink while a new sink was ordered to save replacing the rotten worktop. All rot was cut out when fitting the new sink and Customer was delighted as they thought they’d have to replace the worktops.
