This is one of our most exciting projects to date. We are currently working on the refurbishment of over 100 rooms at the Ibis Hotel at St Andrews Square in edinburgh.

We have successfully completed the refurb on the 5th and 6th floors, thanks to our amazing team. Alot of hard work and long hours, and we got there in the end.

6.0mm radial to a 45a DP switch, from there we wired a ring circuit out the load of the switch for ease of connection Inside the twin sockets.

Installed some 6x6 steel trunking for the cat6 cable to enter the server cabinet.

First fixed an ongoing extension, joining the cables through with wagos to test the installation before we fit any led lamps, usb sockets, fans or anything else that may effect our readings. Also good to test the circuits during the install incase of any issues then they can be rectified before the decorating is complete.

As part of this hotel refurbishment, we were required to replace all the lighting circuit mcbs to rcbo protection through 17 consumer units. We decided that all the boards could be doing with general upgrading as the board was very untidy and hard to work in and also the boards were damaged and fitted inside an old metal box. We replaced the full board with a schneider easy9 board and added in surge protection for each board.
