Job Recently Completed in Giffnock!

Here we removed an old skylight which was no longer required, was also causing unwanted issues.

Old felt and insulation boards were removed and new support installed at opening with joist hangers- then fully re-sheeted with 18mm ply.

Vapour barrier installed before new 50mm insulation boards - 2mm underlay then a 5mm capping sheet for the finish.

We also widened the valley gutter to allow water to clear more freely due to debris build up -
We also demossed the full roof to help this !

What a transformation on this Lead Barrel dormer completed in the West End of Glasgow last week.

We teamed up with Jamie at JC Roofing to get this one over the line in just 2 and a half days!

The flat areas were re-boarded with 18mm Ply wood and a new run created towards the roof to stop the previous issue of puddling. -

🔴 Installed code 5 lead to the flat areas
⚫️ Installed code 6 lead to barrel to allow longer sections - secured down with copper ties.

This property had multiple spots of water ingress due to multiple broken tiles, moss build up and splits in the window flashing.

But not any more!

Section of tiles were removed, cleared of moss and reinstated, window flashings cleared and repaired.

Job recently completed in Erskine, Full gutter clean on this warehouse which had a few Leaks which were also sorted.
