Possibly the last piece to come from the 55 Drum Company workshop via DrumBoutique, this vintage Samsonite Saturn was provided to us for a full custom build. 16 inch Japanese shell with plywood guts, custom snare pad from a North Dakota licence plate and external wires (played backwards by the customer for the correct bum , dsh order). The Sundance Kick, lovingly ordered and named buy Cal fae up north.

Terribly sad to hear of the passing of the great Jeremy Berman, Q Drums

On behalf of Gretsch, we extend our deepest condolences to the family and many friends of Jeremy Berman. Jeremy was a top-notch tech and a renowned drum manufacturer. Our respect and admiration for him runs deep. His warm smile and friendly demeanor made everyone comfortable who was around him. We will all miss him a lot.

Glasgow and Central Scotland Folks!
This is a lovely opportunity to get an intro to African drums in association with Dream Machine and the guys from Kelvingroove. Beginner nights on Tuesdays by way of social enterprise so money and perceived inherent skills will not be a barrier to playing, it's a delightful way to play in a group after a distinct deficiency of collective joy over the last few years. Down by the Barras on a Tuesday night and more African/Latin stuff and further percussion available for those who get into it. Various instruments provided.

Our largest suitcase bass drum to date, 'Jean's 16 Inch Disco Biscuit' loves to slam 4 on the floor and having been developed in line with Glasgow's fabby Queens Park Big Band for more oomph, less rattle and greater stability.

- 16 inch cut down and converted tom shell, painted in a fetching flourescent orange.

- Ordinary port AND full kickport added for bigger venue and extra micing capabilities.

- 2 removable floor tom legs for more stability.

- Preserved vintage interior, as much as possible.

- Storage for a drum up to 14 inch, pedal, legs, some hardware shaky things and jingly bits.

- Maple bass drum connecting plate.

We have been awfy quiet recently, our big fast sharp spinny thing died and took the workshop's electrical socket ring down with it. We're back up and running chopping, changing and bringing the best in reclaimed drums to you with portable kits and some of the markets finest custom drums. We're just cutting some lovely new bearing edges with the smaller faster spinny thing and will have some new products out very soon.
