A new fence installation for our good friend Colin
With 2 young children and a drop of over 20 feet at the back with no existing fence something had to be done for the better weather coming. Now it is a safe and secure environment for the kids to run and play. Colin happily picked up the tools with us and was out in all weathers cutting, chopping, digging and learning. First we removed what was left of the old dividing fence, trimmed all overhead branches and removed a tree in the garden, then set our stings and erected this tidy and secure fence. A fallen fence replacement carried out last week for a customer in Cumbernauld. With the wind being particularly strong and the fence being in a very exposed position, these posts were set deeper than usual with extra mix added to each to ensure it remains stable. One of the larger fences we tackled this year completed a few weeks ago in Bishopbriggs. This job included removing the old back fence, breaking concrete down both sides of the garden for posts, moving the shed and carefully installing posts while avoiding waste and water pipes. A before and after of a recently completed fence. First our team cut back and removed all trees, bushes and hedging that would interfere with the fence line. Then all post positions were measured, marked, dug and set. Finally the rails and slats were installed and the gate hung to ensure that the dog will not be wandering.
