❤️ 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝗹𝗱 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗹 ❤️ We’re delighted to have helped our friends at Drumchapel St Andrew's Church with the installation of a new public access defibrillator.

📍 Location: Drumchapel St. Andrew’s & Yoker Church, 163 Garscadden Rd, Old Drumchapel, G15 6UQ

A reminder for everyone in the local community: if you witness what may be a cardiac arrest, call 999 — the operator can direct you to the nearest defibrillator. Once opened, the defibrillator provides clear step-by-step voice instructions to help you use it.

A great addition for the safety of the community.

⚡ 𝗥𝗖𝗗 𝗞𝗲𝗽𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 – 𝗙𝗮𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 ⚡ A customer called after repeatedly losing power and lights in parts of the house due to the RCD tripping. Once we’d ruled out a faulty appliance, we checked the sockets and narrowed it down to the upstairs sockets circuit.

We checked with a plumber working in the bathroom but he was adamant that he'd not drilled into any cables. However, after further investigation we found the cause. A plasterboard screw had gone straight into a cable 😊

We made the circuit safe by joining the damaged cable in a suitable enclosure, restored power, and left one very relieved homeowner (and a slightly sheepish plumber !) to get on with the day.

💡 𝗬𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗘𝗗 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝗽𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗜𝗻 𝗚𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗴𝗼𝘄 ⚡ One of our teams recently upgraded the yard tent lighting at Allied Bakeries’ Glasgow depot.

The existing 6ft twin fluorescent fittings were replaced with 6ft twin LED anti-corrosive lights, giving the area brighter, more efficient lighting while 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝟲𝟱%.

We also added 2 new emergency light fittings to help bring the area up to full compliance.

😎 Visiting a client in the Scottish Borders today...and what fantastic weather! ☀️

👀 Check out these automatic window actuators in action! We popped back to Grace Church Falkirk to see them working, having installed the power supply a few days previously (the actuators were fitted by Kilpatrick Blane Services). The windows are at a very high-level and opening them for increased ventilation was previously very difficult. Now, simply pressing a switch open & closes them. A simple solution that makes a massive difference!

⛪ We recently returned to Grace Church in Falkirk to install new power supplies for automatic window opening actuators, which were to be installed by Kilpatrick Blane Services

Our work included included:
✔ Fire-rated cabling with fire-rated clips within the trunking system
✔ 3-position switch controls
✔ Galvanised conduit to blend sympathetically with the church fabric
✔ Brown trunking used against varnished timber beams

Careful routing and material selection ensured the installation complemented the building while maintaining safety and compliance.
