This job is for a multiple time returning client a raised decking area making some use of the large garden space, the client wanted the surround to match a fence we recently completed for them.

Another job over the line this extension doubled the size of the house for a lovely family who are already making the best use of the space. This job was a massive project that consisted of a full property make over, we removed 100 tonnes of spoil from the back garden to create 2 levels of patio, retaining walls and steps. We then built the extenion consisting of a rear south facing vaulted ceiling living space. Utility room, bathroom and bedroom. We then dropped the level of the driveway at the front of the property again by building a retaining wall making the driveway functional previously in the winter the car would often end up in the street unintentionally due to ice and snow. We also turfed the areas at the front and back of the property. Always a pleasure to transform peoples forever home.

Front porch extension and hallway revamp including ceiling light tunnel with velux window
completed recently in Stepps. We love these feature light tunnels creating a light airy space where a dark hallaway once was.

Our final job of 2024 completed for one of Design and Builds favourite customers. This is the second extension we have completed on this property.

• Previous extension consisted of new vaulted ceiling sitting room utility room and dormer for a new bathroom.

• Newest extension consisting of kitchen, sitting room, bathroom, bedroom.

We also remodelled the back garden by removing existing rotted decking, removal of 40 tonnes of soil, newly built retaining walls. The garden was finished off with all grey textured new slabs and the laying of new turf.

The pleasure was all ours on this one.

Recent small side extension to add a new bathroom aswell as a new porch with patio doors.

Just waiting for a few dry days for the rough casting to complete the job. Easier said than done in Scotland 😂
