⚠️ Smell Gas? Don’t Ignore It! ⚠️
A customer recently contacted us after noticing a smell of gas in their kitchen.
Following a full investigation, we traced the leak to the isolation valve on the gas hob pipework. The valve was repaired, and after carrying out all the necessary gas safety checks, everything was left safe and working perfectly. ✅👨🔧
This is a great reminder of why annual boiler servicing and gas safety checks are so important. During a service, we don’t just inspect your boiler – we also carry out essential gas safety checks that can identify issues before they become more serious.
If you ever smell gas, don’t ignore it. Turn off the gas supply if it’s safe to do so, avoid using electrical switches, open windows and doors, and contact the emergency gas service if necessary.
