Well that was a weekend and a half with the club exhibiting at two exhibitions on the one weekend!

We had Waddon Marsh at the Scottish Festival of Railway Modelling at Braehead arena and Glasshouse Loan at DEMU Showcase in Sutton Coldfield.

A massive thanks to all our members who supported the club over the weekend to make it happen and a special mention to the members of Bonnybridge & District MRC who helped out with Waddon at Braehead.

Lots of positve comments on both layouts were recieved over the weekend and we'd like to thank the organisers of both shows for having us along.

Next up for us is Dalnottar Riverside's outing to the excellent Perth and District Model Railway Group exhbition at the Dewars Centre in Perth on the weekend of the 28th/29th of June, hopefully we'll see you there.

Next weekend will be a busy one for the group with us attending two exhibitions on the same weekend!

Our OO gauge Southern region layout Waddon Marsh will be at Refrewshire Model Railway Club's Festival of Scottish Railway Modelling at Braehead arena and club member Craig's O gauge layout Glasshouse Loan will be appearing at DEMU Showcase at Sutton Coldfield.

Hopefully we'll see you at one of the above!

We will be there

Only a week to go until the UK’s premier Diesel and Electric model railway show will be in full swing.

On a side note unfortunately due to personal circumstances Ravenscroft is unable to attend, but we have an additional micro layout in its place.

Many thanks to Alan Monk stepping in at the last minute and bring one of his layouts……….Reading Signal Works.

Club member Craig is off on his travels tomorrow to exhibit Glasshouse Loan at the Modern Image O Gauge exhibition at Crewe Heritage Centre.

Also look out for our pop up with details of our Scotland's Diesel Fleet in Detail books and information on how to order, Craig will also have sample copies with him to give you a taste of the books.

Thanks to our friends at Locomotive Services Group we're delighted to confirm that Class 20s 20118 and 20132, freshly repainted in Railfreight Red Stripe livery, will be joining the lineup of full size locomotives on display at the Modern Image O Gauge 2024 Exhibition this weekend :-)

LSL have kindly supported us with visiting heritage traction alongside the O gauge model show before, with 47712 and 37688 visiting in previous years.
