Good Morning,
For approaching nearly 8 years I have put my heart and soul into this business. It was my only source of income and all my clients will know that I’d break my back for them daily, working ridiculously long hours and everything always running like clockwork.
The last year however since opening my “little” sideline Biggie Scoopz trying to give my family a better life, some of my sky high standards may have slipped. The standard of the actual work has never slipped, I always guarantee absolute first class workmanship, however the paperwork side has slipped, with delays for some people on certs etc etc.
Quite simply Biggie Scoopz within 24 hours went absolutely insanely busy, and it became my main income by a mile overnight and consumed huge amounts of time. I now employ 36 people at Biggie Scoopz and have 2 (nearly 3) parlours open.
The positive of the huge success of Biggie Scoopz is that I have recently been able to employ an Area Manager, to carry out all the day to day running etc etc. This in turn frees up all my time and no longer am I working 8-6/7pm at electrics then straight to parlour until midnights most nights etc.
I don’t normally get personal on here but I feel I owe an apology to a few fantastic loyal customers who’ve maybe had to wait a bit longer than usual on paperwork, or for me for a booking. I have took a step back, seen the issue that I was trying to do too much and please too many people, fixed the problem by employing the correct staff and now I can concentrate on what I truly love and enjoy- electrical installation work. Even if I got 50 parlours open, I’ll still be on the tools, I love it, it isn’t even work to me I enjoy it that much.
As of today, Sky high standards and speed of paperwork etc resume instantly.
