Driver / Labourer

Due to our increasing workload, we are seeking to add a Driver / Labourer to our growing team.
You should possess a clean current driving licence and be confident driving light goods vehicles, dropsiders and tippers. A normal car licence is sufficient for this role.
Previous construction industry experience beneficial.
You should equally be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team

This important new role will include:
• Servicing a variety of our sites with material deliveries and debris removal.
• Liaising with suppliers to ensure correct material allocation to sites.
• Transporting staff between sites.
• Assisting in general upkeep of our vehicle fleet.
• Assisting to maintain our plant and access equipment.
• Responsibility for maintaining our yard in good order.
• Assistance with stock control within our stores.
• On occasions you may be required to assist our onsite operatives with onsite tasks.
We work on many varied repair, alteration and refurbishment projects across domestic, commercial, industrial, educational, ecclesiastical and entertainment sectors generally within the greater Glasgow area with occasional travel beyond.

Should be experienced in all aspects of joinery particularly partitioning, finishings, sheeting and door fitting. Experience of roofing joinery a distinct advantage.

Clean driving licence essential. PASMA, IPAF and CSCS beneficial.
