Wee Saturday shift

This one was all about making use of a space that was doing absolutely nothing. Turned it into a clean, practical wardrobe area with plenty of hanging space.

Framed it out and set it up for two doors, giving it that built-in look once finished. Simple idea, but makes a massive difference to how the space is used day to day.

Now just over to the plasterer and painter.

Just finished fitting 4 white linear internal doors from Howdens, all paired with chrome ironmongery for a clean, modern finish.

Simple lines, sharp details, and a massive upgrade to the overall look of the space. Sometimes it’s the small touches that make the biggest difference.

50m² composite decking completed 🔨

This project involved installing approximately 50 square metres of composite decking, finished with a picture-frame border trim to give it a clean, high-end look. The space was designed to work perfectly as an outdoor living area, incorporating a hot tub and a dedicated seating zone for relaxing and entertaining.

This was my first time attempting a decking project I completed this while still learning and developing my skills as an early apprentice a few years ago, It was a great challenge that pushed me to plan carefully, measure precisely, and focus on the finer details to achieve a strong, durable finish.

Out with the old, in with the new 🔨✨

We removed a dated glass wall partition and replaced it with a solid stud partition to better suit the space. While we were at it, we relocated the radiator to a more practical position, making way for a sleek media wall setup.

To finish things off herringbone flooring was installed with new skirting boards instantly giving the home a more modern and updated look. A great example of how thoughtful changes can completely transform a space.

Light grey egger flooring fitted today for a great customer in arklestone.

Christine asked if I could take up her old tired looking floor and replace with the new and to fit oak skirting boards round her new kitchen. We even managed to build her small dining table as a wee extra 🔨
