It’s been a busy start to the week with a few different jobs completed!

First up, I built a bespoke seating area with armrests, designed to suit the customer’s existing dining table just need to finish by adding some decorative mouldings to the front for the complete look.

After that, I moved onto some moulded paneling down a staircase, finished off with a dado rail on top to give it that clean, traditional look.

I also repositioned a doorway and blocked off another doorway upstairs, making a few changes to improve the layout and finish of the space.

A good mix of joinery work to kick the week off! 💪🔨

Busy week in the books! 🔨

I started the week by fitting 5 new internal doors with chrome handles for a lovely customer called Lynn, she even recommended me to her neighbour who now wants new doors fitted so can’t thank her enough. A simple change like new doors can completely transform a home, and it was a pleasure to carry out the work

The rest of the week has been spent fitting a Wren bedroom, and it’s really starting to come together. I can’t wait to show you the finished result.

After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to take the leap and become fully self employed.

I’m excited to announce that Haxton Joinery is now my full time focus. It’s a huge step for me, but one I’m ready for and determined to make a success.

Today also marks another big milestone as I picked up my new work van the next step in building the future of Haxton Joinery and being able to provide an even better service for my customers. 🚐💙

A massive thank you to everyone who has supported me so far every recommendation, share, message and job has helped me get to this point. It genuinely means a lot.

Wee Saturday shift

This one was all about making use of a space that was doing absolutely nothing. Turned it into a clean, practical wardrobe area with plenty of hanging space.

Framed it out and set it up for two doors, giving it that built-in look once finished. Simple idea, but makes a massive difference to how the space is used day to day.

Now just over to the plasterer and painter.
