40 Years of Esteem Training
This year, we're celebrating an important milestone for Esteem Training – 40 incredible years of supporting people and businesses to develop and grow.
40 years ago, an idea began...
Back in 1986, Esteem Ltd was founded by Trudy MacKenzie with a simple belief: that investing in people creates stronger businesses and better leaders. Trudy has always been passionate about integrity, honesty, quality and self-development, with those values being embedded in Esteem Training’s culture. We firmly believe that our philosophy of investing and growing people is key to our success.
We built a workplace culture that puts people first and this was solidified when we became 100% employee-owned in April 2022, one of our proudest achievements. What started as a commitment to developing people has grown into Esteem being Scotland's Number One provider of Construction Modern Apprenticeships, helping thousands of Supervisors, Managers and Leaders build their skills and confidence to progress in their careers.
Over the years, we've evolved through creating and delivering impactful learning experiences. Since focusing on the construction industry in 2013, we've continued to embrace fresh approaches to learning, challenging convention and taking pride in doing things differently.
As we celebrate this milestone, we feel incredibly grateful.

This anniversary isn't just about looking back on four decades of achievement – it's about looking forward. The construction industry continues to evolve and so do we. Our commitment remains the same: helping people and businesses to develop the skills, confidence and leadership they need to succeed.
