The role will include:

• Driving our tipper
• Collecting and delivering materials
• Helping to keep jobs running smoothly and efficiently
• Assisting the team on-site
• Getting stuck in and helping out on the tools when required

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, organised and happy to work as part of a busy team. A full UK driving licence is essential, and experience in paving, landscaping or groundworks would be an advantage.

Did you know that Alanya castle is situated on top of natural limestone? Being a man of natural stone, Fitting tiles for over 20 years i am naturally drawn to this. And have explored it from the bottom to the top!! And also with my trusty Avata 2! Fascinating to say the least here is some further information!!

The castle wasn't built on a flat artificial platform. The entire castle hill/peninsula is a natural geological formation, with steep limestone and other carbonate rocks forming the rugged cliffs around it.
That's one reason the location was so strategically powerful:
🪨 Natural limestone cliffs provided enormous defensive advantages.
🌊 The peninsula projects into the Mediterranean, giving defenders excellent views over the sea.
🏰 The walls were built around and along the natural contours of the rock, rather than creating the hill themselves.
⛰️ The same geological landscape continues into the mountains behind Alanya.
So when you're standing around the castle looking at those huge exposed rock faces, you're essentially looking at natural mountain/limestone geology that predates the castle by millions of years. The Romans, Byzantines and later Seljuks were making use of a landscape that was already there.
And yes — this is also why the Alanya area has so many dramatic karst/limestone formations and caves.
