Big excitement at The Evana Group this morning 🏴⚽

We kicked off World Cup weekend properly with a team breakfast (and a few cans of Irn-Bru to keep it traditional 😂).

After 28 years away, it’s great to see Scotland back on the world stage—and you can feel the buzz already.

🏠 Another Great Team Effort Completed in Paisley 🏠

Our Housing client recently requested a drone survey after reports of water ingress affecting both the front and rear bedrooms of a property in Paisley. Following a detailed inspection, our Contract Manager identified a range of roofing repairs required to make the property fully weather tight.

Works completed included:

✅ Scaffold access to rear elevation
✅ Strip and replacement works to rear hip sections
✅ New mechanically fixed dry hip system installed
✅ Broken tile and timber repairs completed
✅ Vegetation removed from roof valleys
✅ Damaged guttering replaced
✅ Rope & harness access to front elevation
✅ Full site clearance on completion

Using drone technology allowed us to safely and efficiently identify defects and deliver the correct remedial solution with minimal disruption.

Another great team effort by all involved and another successful job completed to a high standard for our client 👏

We’re pleased to share the successful completion of our latest project delivered on behalf of one of our valued Housing Association clients.


✅ Scope of works included:


Supply and er****on of scaffold with saddle access onto flat roof

Careful strip-out of bottom course of tiles surrounding the flat roof

Removal of defective roofing membrane

Installation of new 18mm tongue & groove OSB boarding

Supply and installation of a new EPDM flat roofing system (approx. 33m²)

Replacement of tiles (with new materials supplied where required)

Full clearance and responsible disposal of all project waste

This upgrade ensures a durable, weather-resistant, and long-lasting roofing solution, improving both performance and reliability for the property.

Great afternoon at the NFRC Scotland Members Day at Hamilton Racecourse ☀️🏇

We were kindly invited by Allan Liddell CUPA PIZARRAS and Ashley Finnigan Burton - The Roofing People so a big thank you again for the hospitality—really appreciated.

Fantastic to see the sun shining and even better to catch up with so many familiar faces. Events like this are a great reminder of how strong our industry network is—brilliant conversations with fellow roofers and suppliers alike. Great to also catch up with Dylan Mc Connell and have a good chat about roofing felt.

Plenty of laughs, good company, and some even managed to bag a few extra pennies along the way! 💰

This week, our Contracts Managers visited a local primary school’s P7 class to introduce pupils to roofing as a trade — and to show how modern construction blends practical skills with exciting technology.

Alongside hard hats and hi‑vis vests, we brought our drone to demonstrate how digital tools are transforming the industry. The pupils were fully engaged, asked brilliant questions, and showed real curiosity about the employability skills behind construction careers.

Investing in our community means helping young people understand the opportunities available to them, and we’re proud to support pupils as they prepare for the transition into secondary school and beyond.

We’re pleased to have successfully delivered roofing and chimney works in Dumbarton on time and to the required standard, on behalf of our factoring client, working in collaboration with CRGP Surveyors Limited.



🔧 Works included:

Localised roof strip and renewal of battens, underfelt, and lead flashings

Reinstatement of Marley Modern tiles and ridges to match existing

Full chimney stack upgrade including new cope, re-render, pots, and leadwork

Front and rear skew encapsulation in Code 6 lead for long-term protection

Clearance of gutters and downpipes

After an exciting first season sponsoring Partick Thistle FC ,we were delighted to attend the Premiership play off- and what a great night it was.

We were especially pleased to be the Captains sponsor and play our part supporting the club throughout the season.

We’ve recently completed a series of repair and improvement works for a housing client, focused on safety and restoring the integrity of the balcony structure.

🔨 Scope of works included:

Er****on of scaffolding for safe access

Removal of defective header brick courses

Installation of new brickwork and coping stones

Repointing of all new masonry

Installation of weep vents to improve drainage

Cutting of raggle joint and fitting of Code 5 lead apron

Sealing with polysulphide mastic for long-term protection

Full site clearance upon completion

The project ensures safety, improved durability and a high-quality finish for the client.
